About our mission

We are a non-profit organization, and we’re excited to share an incredible opportunity for volunteers to join us to teach children in Thailand!

Our school is dedicated to providing a well-rounded education, and we’re currently looking for passionate individuals to teach English, computer skills, art, and sports.

Whether you’re a teacher, a creative, or simply someone who loves working with children, we’d love to hear from you.

In addition to classroom teaching, we also need volunteers to help with daily tasks at our home, such as cooking and gardening. It’s a chance to connect with the kids in a meaningful way and contribute to their growth in every aspect of life.

We ask that volunteers commit to staying with us for at least four weeks, so they can fully engage with the children and the community.

Project activities

1. Teaching children in three different schools – Primarily English, but also other subjects..
2. After-school lessons several times a week for all children at the bungalows by the beach of the "Island Elders" (followed by a shared traditional Thai meal).
3. Summer school during holidays.
4. Preparing lessons and contributing creative ideas.
5. Household chores and gardening. House renovations – The house still needs ongoing renovation work.
6. Cooking for the volunteers in the evenings.
7. Weekly team meetings.
8. Social media management and possibly organizational tasks for the project.
9. Planning an environmental protection concept for the island.

Key traits for teaching with us

🌿 Solid English Skills – You should speak clearly and confidently. Fluency isn't a must, but good grammar and pronunciation are important. (This is not the right place to learn English from scratch.)
🌿 Experience with Kids – Whether through teaching, babysitting, volunteering, or as an Au Pair – any background in working with children is a big advantage.
🌿 Creative & Playful – Our lessons are lively! Be ready to improvise, bring in ideas, and make learning fun.
🌿 Easygoing & Open-Minded – Things don’t always go as planned. A relaxed and flexible attitude is essential.
🌿 Team Player – We share a house and a vision. Helping each other in everyday life is part of the experience.
🌿 Connection to Nature – We live close to the earth – barefoot, outside, simple. If you love nature, you’ll feel at home.
🌿 Willing to Reflect – We value inner growth. After each day, we take time to reflect on what worked, what didn’t, and how we grow – for the children and ourselves.
🌿 Minimum Age: 20 – A certain level of maturity and self-responsibility is important.

👉 As a volunteer, you'll contribute about 4 hours a day, with tasks depending on your strengths and passions.
